Sunday, May 31st:
The last day of the show, the BEA authorities cut the show back by 2 hours this year, which seemed to make everyone use their time a little better. We had a lot of people walking up that day, making their last rounds at the show. The buyers looked worn out after carrying their bags of books around all weekend, and so they seemed to move slower than they had for the rest of the show. (or maybe it was just the nice carpet again on their really tired feet!)
At the end of the show we packed up all the books and anything left over (a much smaller pile!) and rounded up our crew to head back to Ashland. Despite some traffic delays caused by Sunday street fairs (and a cabbie that liked to use the curb!), everyone made their flight on time, and safely back home.
